I ruptured one of my quad muscles in 2013 playing AFL and ever since that horrific injury I have been restricted in physical activity and mentality because I was no longer confident in myself as a person to do anything. Injury could not be repaired or reattached. So no more AFL or any sports for that matter where it included legs. Even with my job as a PT I was held back and I seriously lacked motivation, energy, sleep and sometimes when eating I felt like crap!
